LOS ANGELES, CA – November 7, 2018 – MediaPlatform, a leading enterprise webcasting and video content management platform for the Global 2000, today announced a joint webinar with Kollective, a leading enterprise content delivery network (eCDN), that will cover the benefits customers are achieving by using MediaPlatform’s enterprise video platform and Kollective’s enterprise content delivery network as an integrated deployment.
Driven by customer demand, MediaPlatform and Kollective engineering teams joined forces to enable customers to design, launch, and monitor live webcasts using MediaPlatform’s industry-leading WebCaster platform and optimize internal video delivery to employees using the Kollective eCDN. Among other features, the combined solution includes a new, Kollective failover option from HLS to RTMP to seamlessly transition viewers to RTMP where HLS is not available.
Technical experts Bill Accola, MediaPlatform Vice President Professional Services and Customer Success, and Tony Gooch, Kollective Product Manager – Integrations, will host the webinar, which will be delivered via MediaPlatform’s live webcasting platform.
The event takes place on November 13th at 11:00 PST/2:00 EST.
